If you're friends with me on facebook you may have noticed that my blog post are auttomaticly imported as notes. I had a problem where these comments would stay inside of Facebook and never be shown to the world. Thouse days are over, using FacebookCommentsTNG, a WordPress plugin, I am able to import all comments from Facebook into my blog. Keep the comments coming folks! |

Well I've been working hard this week to launch my new site and I'm happy to announce that the wait is over. I have created BRurls.com as an extention of BandonRandon.com to shorten long urls. This is useful for many things. Such as, Facebook™, Twitter™ or any other social network status link. This sevice was created using a modified version of the free open source script called lilurl. As the weather gets colder I thought I would make this site a bit more more festive by adding snow to the site. The snow is powered by a script by Scott Schiller and the blog is powered by the same script turned into the plugin let it snow by Aen Tan. Enjoy! |

So apparently I'm a few years behind but I just found out about lifestreams, actionstrems. This is basicly a list of your feed activity accross the web. Well I hopped on board and installed David Cramer's LifeStream plugin. Check out my lifestream! |

| Comments Ahoy! - August 24, 2008 |
I am pleased to announce that you may now add comments to news entries such as this one. I have been working for quite a while to produce this functionality and have finally got it to the point where it was ready to launch. Also I have redesigned the guestbook look as well as the blog comment look. Along with this has come some other small site layout changes.  |

It's official, I is a college graduate! My degree came in the mail on Wednesday. I have updated my about section information to reflect this new development as well as made a few other small changes. The blog side bar also has a new look to it. |

You probably know what an avatar is but do you know what a gravatar is? A gravatar is simply a globally recognized avatar. This service allows you to attach an image to your e-mail. You sign up via the gravatar website(http://site.gravatar.com) this allows you to have an image show up each time you leave a comment at any blog/web site with this service enabled. And guess what, my blog now has gravatar enabled! So head on over to http://site.gravatar.com and sign up!

Well, well, well, it's been a couple of months since I've added news. What has changed? I am currently working on inter-grading a poll system into the site. This is taking a lot longer than I would have liked it to but it will hopefully be done in the next few months.
The blog receives weekly updates on Sundays (or early Monday morning) this is a great way to communicate with me. I've also added the ability to edit comments up to 5 min after they are posted. Just a bit of what is going on around here, Enjoy! |
